Merry X-mas! Let's commemorate with yet ANOTHER f*cking Starbucks review. Only this one's gonna be a little different (just a tad), only because this Sbux has a couple dynamic things going for it. #1 The tallest freakin' drive thru window ever. No, really. I took a pic of how small all my sh*t was and how mighty and high all theirs was. I felt dominated... I'm not quite sure if I liked it, but one thing's for certain- There must be a lot of monster trucks around these parts. #2 The drive thru man was an adult ginger male ---HOLD ON! Don't let me lose you yet, I promise this isn't going anywhere creepy. Ready for it? He was actually really attractive. Like, REALLY attractive. And that's just not something you're gonna see on the reg- at least with that combo of adult+ginger+male. I mean, I gotta man so it's not like I was interested or anything... but it's just not something you see every day. I guess it also could've been that I just reallllly wanted my Chai and seeing it in his hand allowed for a potential proximity boner. He was really nice though, and my Chai made the hour and a half drive from my house out to these parts much more bearable.

In Joe Pesci's immortal words. "They f.*** you at the drive-thru". My wife ordered a green tea latte with half milk / half water and my daughter ordered the regular frozen green tea latte. When the girl handed us the drinks she gave my daughter 4 stirrers and said. Here are some extra stirrers so you can finish mixing in the green tea powder stuck to the sides. Are you kidding me? Didn't we pay YOU to prepare our drinks? Several miles down the road my wife's realized her drink had no milk. I never heard of a latte without milk. 15 minutes later, I had to pull over so my daughter could puke her guts out on the side of the highway. Sanitation issue? I guess its a good thing that they screwed up my wife's order or she might have been puking too. This place has problems.

I'm seconding what Candice said about the world's tallest drive thru window. It's like if you don't own an SUV or truck then you don't deserve to get Starbucks without getting out of your car. Sometimes I have to put my car in park so I can get more of my body out the window to get my drink. This is my go to Starbucks on the way to work and they are usually quick. Sometimes the drive thru line gets too long so I will just park and go inside. Much easier than waiting plus the parking spot next to the door is usually open.

My drink was horrible! They told me that is how it is. I got the same drink this week in volo and lake geneva. It was great there. They remade it and it was still bad. They were too busy socializing.

Great place! Close to work! Very friendly staff! I come here all the time. I do wish they carried tiramisu cake pops again. But I never had any problems with my orders here :) will keep coming back.

I was really happy when they built this Starbucks a year or so ago as it is just down the street from me and is very conveniently located. Now, it's kind of odd to review a Starbucks because, to a large degree, they're fungible -- if you've been to one, you've pretty much been to them all. However, for some unfortunate reason, this is one different. I'm sure any regular Starbucks patron has occasionally had their drink prepared incorrectly at a Starbucks -- it's really not a big deal. For some reason though, this particular Starbucks gets it wrong, not once in a while, but almost every time I go there. (Consequently, I no longer go there. If I go to Starbucks, I usually go out of my way to go to the Starbucks in the nearby Dominicks, or hit the Starbucks on the other end of Lake Zurich near the movie theater.) What do I mean? Here's one example: I have a Starbucks cup. The deal is you buy an over-priced Starbuck's coffee mug, but you get ten cents off each drink because they don't have to use a paper cup (it's good for the environment). The way it works is you pull into the drive thru, order your drink and advise the order taker that you have a personal cup. It's pretty basic. However, at this Starbucks, I get to the window and the girl charges me the full price. I point out that it's supposed to be ten cents less because I have a personal cup. She says she doesn't know what I'm talking about. I explain it to her. She grudgingly charges me ten cents less, but then can't resist making the snippy comment that she'd already made my drink and wasted a paper cup anyway. (Duh! -- why do you think I told you before I got to the window that I had a personal cup?) I bite my lip though and pull away -- only to discover when I was a couple of miles away that they had gotten my drink wrong -- AGAIN! And when I say "again", I mean that this was about the tenth time this particular Starbucks had messed up my drink. (I know, I know, foolish me for driving away without checking). Sorry for the rant -- but it frosts me how this place can so consistently screw up making a cup of coffee. Perhaps it might have something to do with the fact that the crew here seems particularly fond of chattering amongst themselves instead of focusing on their patrons.

A nice starbucks but smaller then most. Not sure why they built this just down the road from another one but it is much easier to park and get through the drive-through here then the other.

EXCELLENT location! The staff is wonderful and the drinks are always great. They honestly pay attention to what they are doing and do not let the shots expire.
